Chairmont and the Australian School of Business at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) have partnered to offer students studying abroad the opportunity to intern at Chairmont.

The purpose of the program is to provide international students the opportunity to experience working while living and studying in another country. The goal being to broaden the intern’s life skills and understanding of the world while undertaking finance-related work. After the internship and study abroad program have been completed, students should have a better understanding of international business on top of the financial acumen acquired from class and the internship. Through the internship program, UNSW aims to strengthen its connection with the financial sector whilst preparing its students to enter the workforce.

"Working at Chairmont was great because their passion and dedication to their work made it an excellent place to learn and gain experience. By taking the time to ensure we understood their products and services, Chairmont gave us the freedom and ability to perform better work and make a meaningful impact on projects, while leaving us with tangible skills for future work endeavors."

Andrew Weil, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA

"Chairmont maintains the philosophy that the best way to teach interns is to empower them with real responsibility - pushing them to take an active role in their consulting engagements.  This incredible opportunity, coupled with the team's mentorship and guidance, provided me an invaluable work experience."

Matt Jayson, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA

"As a past intern at Chairmont Consulting, I can say it was a very valuable experience.  Not only was it a great way to work on projects that were used by actual clients , but it was also very enjoyable getting to know the team of hard working visionaries in a fun, collegial environment at Chairmont.

When looking for employment in New York, interviewers often asked about my experience at Chairmont and were impressed by the hands-on exposure I received from working closely with the team, which will continue to benefit me no matter where my career takes me."

Steven Wang, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA

"My experience as an intern at Chairmont was one the most memorable I had while studying abroad in Australia. Not only was I given valuable experience in an innovative professional environment. I had practise in operating in the office of a culture that was different than my own. The Chairmont team gave me responsibility and tasks and allowed me the liberty to complete assignments by my own methods. I am confident the skills I have gained while working at Chairmont will influence my success in the future."
